I feel as if this semester by itself is a new challenge to me; I see myself with more responsibilities, in different environments, and trying new things. It’s the first time I’m living with friends, so it was definitely a different experience of having to share my living space and set boundaries to make sure we’re respecting each others’ space.
Also, with co-op search, I’ve been doing a lot of interview practice which is definitely something that gets me thinking and reflecting about myself a lot. Interviews are something that I feel like gets less daunting with practice, so I’m looking forward to getting to that point.
I normally don’t address this as a challenge because I know there are a lot of other students in the same shoes as me, but being far away from home is always a new challenge for me. The feeling of homesick hits me at random times but sometimes I utilize this as motivation for me to work harder.
