Appreciation

One of the things that I try not to take for granted is time. Time is one of those things that you can never get back and can only lose. I feel like there’s always so much to do and always so little time to actually complete it. It’s hard to have good time management skills and make room for academics, work, volunteering, research, and still spend time with the people you enjoy. Lately I feel like I haven’t been doing the latter bit, so I’m really glad that the semester is ending soon.
Another thing I really appreciate is my cat, Moomoo. I’ve been wanting to get a cat for a very long time, and her presence has given me so much support when I feel down and stressed. I know she’s always at home and even though she doesn’t really know how stressed I am. I love how she is always happy to see me. I appreciate when she curls up into a little ball on my chest and purrs during the night time and I appreciate how she tolerates me picking her up even though I know she really hates it. Having a little buddy that you know will always be there for you is really something special.
