In my contemporary healthcare class, the class explored AI in healthcare. Instantly, I was skeptical. What can AI do to such a service-centered industry? Would patients react well to an AI providing medical care? Currently, the consensus is that AI can do a lot of the heavy lifting in analyzing data allowing practitioners to conclude more readily. Think of an AI like Google, which can process and return the most important data, or conclusions, for you, the user, to look through. Still, the question remains, will AI take over healthcare?
