A Short Week Home

During Indigenous People’s weekend, I decided to go home during the weekend. On Friday, right after the only class I had for that day, my mom drove up from New York to take me back for a couple of days until the weekend. I had an 8am, and my mom left at 8am. It felt weird, I was out doing errands again, such as driving my sister to pep band, and joining the family Costco runs. Being back at home felt both natural and unnatural at the same time.

The weekend was really nice. It was a different pace than what I had gotten used to and I got to see my family again for the brief time. I think the best thing was that I got a couple days off of cooking my own food and doing my own dishes. I
