5 Things to do to be Prepared for the Fall/Winter

Get your flu shot

With the COVID-19 spread, we must take action to keep our bodies and our peers’ bodies healthy. I recently got my flu shot at the Massachusetts Ave CVS and it was a 5 minute in-and-out process. With most insurances, it’s completely free! Make sure you make an appointment first, though!

Rotate your closet

You will not need your shorts and flip flops anymore. I find it annoying to dig around my closet to find sweaters and jeans in a closet full of tank tops and short skirts. Getting one of those vacuum-seal plastic bags helps with the musty smell of a closet.

Get your Fall coats out of your closet!

If you ask me, Fall is the most fashionable season. Fall coats have a way of elevating any outfit. Despite not being able to go out as much, it is an essential in my closet.

Get your Winter parkas ready

Fall comes and goes quickly here in Boston. Before you know it, you will need to bust out your big, puffy parkas. If you do not have one, make sure you get one now because they will soon be sold out everywhere!

Get into the habit of checking the weather

I cannot tell you how many times I went out one day and it was freezing cold, so the next day I went out with a huge coat or parka, only to find out that it was 80 degrees out. Boston Fall weather is brutal sometimes. One day it is 67 degrees out but the next day it is 79. Checking the weather on a daily basis has become a habit of mine.
