2023! I don’t like odd numbers but nevertheless, a new year yields new opportunities! Reflecting on the past year, it was probably one of my hardest yet because of a lot of unforeseen circumstances. I feel motivated to move on to better things and focus on the things that matter most to me in this year. Though time often feels like an intangible and messy, yet commanding, juggernaut of stress, everything always seems to work out in the end. My goal for the year is to not “save things for later” and live in the moment because you never know when you will get the same opportunity again. Since I was a kid, I’ve been prone to hoarding stickers and even snacks because I wanted to save them for when I really wanted to use them. But those moments never came. In fact, I was probably the most excited to use them when I got them. As such, I hope to catch myself in these moments and tell myself to enjoy it. Let’s see how I do!
