This semester I enrolled in an elective class called wellness where we learn about the different things that go into our overall well, and this includes our mental health. I have been learning just how many different things contribute to our overall wellbeing. The biggest thing I have been trying to work on is getting better sleep both in quality and duration. For instance, I no longer listen to anything for sleep, including white noise, and try to sleep in silence. I also try to keep a consistent sleep cycle and try to get as much sleep as possible. Even if it means having less time to do things for fun, like playing video game with friends or staying up later with people, I try to prioritize sleep and rest.
