Well, today was a pretty exhausting day. After taking my LAST A&P (which was extremely cathartic), I grabbed my last lunch at Churchill’s. This will probably my last meal in a dining hall since I’m moving into an apartment next year. After eating, I walked back to Midtown and began my packing adventure. Before this though, my Mandarin teacher from my high school texted me to see if I could FaceTime into her class to reunite with my old classmate. This was a super sweet call and what made it even better was that I found out that he’s coming to Northeastern! This truly felt like a full-circle moment.

After the catch-up, I began to pack everything and to my surprise, I didn’t have as much stuff as I thought I would. It felt really nice to clear out all my drawers and take down my wall decorations. I was a little sad but for the first time, I felt excited to go back home. Unpacking all my stuff would obviously be a hassle but once I’m settled down it’ll be nice to be back home. I can tell my family is super excited to have me back too.

I’ll most definitely miss Boston for the craziness it has to offer. I’ll also miss being on my own, doing whatever I want, and having the ability to walk to see my friends. Now, everyone will be everywhere. That’s truly the beauty of college. I’ve made so many close friends this semester and I’m excited to show them what my home life is like since they’ve only seen me in a college setting. I know it’s sad to leave now, but this means we’ll be coming back to a (hopefully) near-normal life in the fall. I’m excited for what’s to come. Have a great summer everyone!
