Midterm Season

It’s midterm season and I am, quite frankly, exhausted. Albeit I only had one exam, but it was in my worst class and it covered a lot of difficult material. Not to mention I had huge projects and assignments in my other classes. My sleeping and eating schedules were beyond sporadic this past week and my concept of time completely flew out the window.

I will say, however, it was comforting to find study spots around campus and see that everyone else was feeling the same way. After talking to some folks I saw that they were also just as piled up with papers, projects, and exams that are worth a concerning amount of their overall grade. It’s so nice to visibly see a community of people who all are going through the same thing—it made this week much more bearable. I stayed pretty late at Snell some nights this week and as the hours passed by, the atmosphere became really calm and it was almost soothing to know that even though I don’t know the people around me, we’re all here for the same reason and we all are considerate of everyone’s studying.

I hope everyone did well on their midterms! Let’s all enjoy this well-deserved break coming up.
