My favorite Lunar New Year tradition would definitely be enjoying a bunch of good food with my family and red envelopes. When I was little, we used to go to this big New Year’s party every year with relatives, family friends, and a bunch of people I didn’t know, but I always looked forward to it cause I’d get a lot of red envelopes. Now, we usually have a big hotpot meal at home followed by some tang yuan and rice cakes. My grandma also makes this really good sweet and sticky pineapple rice which is one of my favorites.
