My favorite Lunar New Year traditions include red envelopes, food, and fireworks. Nian Gao (sweet rice cake), Tang Yuan (sweet rice balls), and Xia Bing (shrimp chips) are some of my favorite foods to look forward to. I’m a little sad I won’t be with family this year, but maybe I’ll try making some of these foods to compensate for it!
