Kevin’s Weekly Review Corner #5

The days are gradually getting warmer as spring approaches. As I am in co-op I did not get a spring break, but I still was able to carve out some time for myself. As the week before I had Levain cookies, this week I tried out Ten One Tea House also located on Newbury street. I went with a friend and we decided to get two different drinks so we could try them both. The orders were the Lavender and Rose milk teas, 75% sweetness, and less ice. I believe that the syrups were made in-house, which is cool to know. I personally think 100% sweetness is also what I would go for next time as the sweetness levels are much lower than in comparison to Kung Fu Tea. For syrups, the rose was much more floral than the lavender. I personally would not go back for those types of flavors, but at least I know now that I do not like floral milk teas. Overall, my review on Ten One Tea House is that it is a place you would go to for more unique, quality drinks when compared to milk tea places like Kung Fu Tea near campus.
