Growing up, I had the luxury of eating all types of food. I live in Brooklyn in a neighborhood near amazing Chinese restaurants, bakeries, and food spots. This mini Chinatown was right next to my train stop on my way back from school and the park where I would hang out a lot. I would always get the best food and snacks here. There’s a nice family-owned stall that sells the best FJ food. I would get peanut butter noodles and wontons quite often. Also, HK bakeries with amazing baos and rice noodles. And the best part of all of this is how cheap it used to be!!! Writing this made me hungry and homesick…
