I waited until last night to write this post because I was super excited to meet Nathan Chen, an Gold medalist Olympic medalist! It was actually my first time other than the Seventeen concert I went to 5 years ago that I was up close in the audience in front of Nathan. The hosts asked a series of many but interesting questions relating to his figure skating career and his Chinese American identity. I find that Nathan feels very relatable as he is very gracious and human and showed that he can be awkward and nervous like how many of us are. Towards the end of the event, we were able to do a meet and greet, and I got to take many pictures with him, though I freaked out and never got to ask him to make a heart sign with me.
