Recently, I went to Da laPosta in Newton, Massachusetts. At the restaurant, I had a slice of New Haven Clampizza and Spaghetti Carbonara. The seafood pizza was really yummy as it was topped with Manilla clams, pancetta, and other savory ingredients. I never had seafood pizza before so I was taken back to how the cheese and the clams mixed together so well. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, because I was in the mood for a heavier, creamier type of pasta. When I initially got my pasta, it was too hard and I asked for it to be cooked a little longer. They made me a new dish and let me keep my old one. After the pasta was made softer, it was really good too and the egg blended into the carbonara so well. Overall, I really enjoyed dinner there and the service there was really nice as people were so friendly. I highly recommend going here for a nice dinner. It could be crowded during dinner, so I definitely recommend making a reservation beforehand. It is also in Newton and is around a 20 minute car ride away.
