Adjusting to adulting

I can’t believe I am back in Boston and starting my second year in college. It still feels surreal that I am here and have moved into my new apartment. I can’t believe I’m doing adult things, from building furniture to cooking dinner daily and running errands. All of that doesn’t feel real. I don’t particularly appreciate growing up; I wish I were still in elementary school. I miss home, where it’s 1500 miles away. How will I ever get used to this adulting life?
