AAC Staff

What is AAC? Some would say Asian American Center. Others would say a safe space for the Asian American community. But what defines a community? This word is so broad and connotation-based. For me, a community is like a family, but not literally. You feel safe around them and trust them to share your good times and all the bad times. There’s always someone to talk to and do their best to support you. You care for them and they do the same. So, what fits this criteria? The AAC is great, but that itself isn’t a community. Rather, it is just a space for a community to form. But the people at AAC are what I call a community, especially the staff. I go to AAC not because it’s a great space but because the staff there is what’s worth going for. It sucks being away from Boston next semester because I won’t be able to see them until summer, and all I can hope is that it is as great as it is right now. Thanks for everything AAC Staff!!!!
