These past few weeks I have picked up a fun new hobby: ping pong! I am not really that good, or that bad honestly, but it’s just a really enjoyable game that I’ve been playing almost everyday the past few weeks. I usually play with my little nephew or my older brother. It gets kind of competitive even though we all kind of suck at it, but I think that is what makes it so enjoyable. It’s been a busy and stressful last couple of weeks since it’s end of semester crunch time, so finding some time to play some ping pong everyday has given me something to look forward to each day.
I urge everyone to find some time to play some ping pong or any other fun thing for at least a few minutes of everyday these last two weeks of the semester. Final projects, presentations, papers, and exams definitely are a special type of stress this year for everyone, and it’s important to find that time to relax and get your head out of all that stress. I hope you all do well on your finals and find ways to escape the stress. Also, if you’ve never played ping pong or just don’t really play it that often, I highly recommend it. Not sure if there’s a ping pong table anywhere on campus, but if there is, you can find me there next semester.
