I think if I wanted to meet any animated character, it would have to be Sokka from Avatar: The Last Airbender. He’s one of those characters that seems like comedic relief, but really has some depth once you study him. I feel like he’d be incredibly fun to hang out with, but would also be a great person to have a personal conversation with, especially given his insecurities as a non bender among all of his elemental bender friends. Since coming to Northeastern from a smaller school and town, I’ve felt lots of imposter syndrome and insecurity, seeing so many people that are just like me or better, so I’d definitely have something to talk about with Sokka in that sense.
Personal stuff aside, I’d really just like to watch him do silly things with his boomerang and then laugh with him afterwards! That’d be enough for me.
