Why I choose to work at the AAC: University has been a weird time; coming in at 2020, as we’ve all heard over and over, was not great for getting involved around campus and kind of skewed my experience. While I was searching for work study opportunities after finally coming back to campus full-time, I wanted to be a more active part of the Asian/Asian-American community. I’m nervous to come in knowing almost no one, but I’m excited to learn more, be a part of events, and push myself out of my comfort zone of my “go to class and go straight home” cycle!
