PAAC Emmaline Howe

Emmaline Howe

She, her, hers
PAAC

Hi! My name is Emmaline and I’m a Business Major with a Healthcare Management and Consulting concentration. In my time at Northeastern, I started in the Explore program and switched my major twice. I think this path has made me a more adaptable person and as someone who kind of hates change, proves to myself I can make large changes if convinced with enough evidence and self reflection. I have a lowkey extreme knowledge of Kpop, wish I could read more than I do, and enjoy writing. I currently serve as the Co-events chair of Ganbei Magazine, am part of ASU, CSA, and a former member of NUGOAL.

Year: 3rd Year
Major: Business Administration, Healthcare Management and Consulting Concentration
Hometown: Avon, CT
Hobbies: writing, rock climbing, going to concerts, collecting (and spending too much money) on blind boxes, attending PAAC events, and listening to the same song on loop until I get sick of it
Favorite Thing to Do in Boston:

Taking long walks down to any body of water

What made you decide to be a Team 442 Member, and what are you the most excited for?

From my first freshman year involvement fair, I knew that PAAC was something I wanted to be a part of. Throughout high school and before I had grappled with issues of identity surrounding my ethnicity and culture. I remember nervously attending the first ASU GM and coming out of it having met so many new people that I now consider close friends. Looking up to those on PAAC eboards, I realized that I wanted to do more for this community that has allowed me to experience my culture in a way I never was able to before. PAAC has given me friends, a deeper understanding of myself, and most importantly, a sense of belonging. As PAAC co-chair, I am excited to help plan events and take part in creating inclusive and vibrant spaces that celebrate our Asian American heritage and culture.

What are you most excited for this year (NUGOAL related)?
Creating a lot of memories and going to a lot of activities with this group.
