When I was in elementary school, I loved watching Naruto. Just following the series as it updated, I think I finished Naruto Shippuden sometime around middle school. I’ve watched a couple other anime movies but haven’t finished any other series. I’ve also watched a fair share of cartoons as a kid but none were as memorable as Naruto.
If I were to meet any cartoon or anime character, I would want to meet Naruto. There definitely are a couple other characters I’d love to see like Itachi. However, just for this point in my life right now, I need some of the energy and mindset of the main character of this anime series.
There would be so much I would want him to share and retell. Stories of his adventures, lessons he’s learned along the way, advice on how to stay positive and keep chasing after goals/dreams, tips on consistency and motivation, insights on what’s kept him going, and the value he places on friends/comrades.
Naruto is an anime that I associate with my childhood. Watching that twelve-year-old get stronger, make friends, grow up and gain the approval/recognition he’s always wanted was an inspiration. As cheesy as some of the lessons/themes taught were, I truly believe they are of value and are applicable to my own life still now.
