HONU (Hawai‘i ‘Ohana at Northeastern University) is an organization that serves as a cultural and social hub for students from Hawai‘i and those interested in Hawaiian culture. More than just a club, HONU fosters a sense of ‘ohana (family), providing a supportive community for students adjusting to life far from the islands. HONU emphasizes inclusivity, welcoming students from all backgrounds to learn about and engage with Hawaiian culture.
What are you looking forward to this year in your role as PAAC rep?
I’m looking forward to my first co-op and getting to meet many new people.
