Hello! My name is Denneen, and I’ll be one of your AAHM co-chairs this upcoming year. I’m Filipino so I’ve mostly been involved in Barkada during my time here in Northeastern, but I’m looking forward to branching out and meeting more people while working on AAHM. Outside of PAAC, I’ve been an orientation leader, RA, WRBB radio host, and am also in the sorority Delta Phi Epsilon, so if any of those interest you feel free to ask me about them! Otherwise, I don’t really know how to describe myself so some fun facts about me are that I’m a Gemini sun/Pisces moon/Leo rising, my favorite colors to wear are black and red but my favorite color in general is green, I’m an INFP-A, my comfort movies are Spirited Away and Pride and Prejudice (the one with Keira Knightley), and that I’ll be traveling to Europe for the first time with family this summer so if you have any recs please let me know! 🙂
For those of you who don’t know me, this was actually my third time running for AAHM co-chair. I wasn’t sure at first whether to run again this year, considering that I’d be a 5th year during my term, but I decided that I didn’t want to have regrets. As an ex-president, I’m most excited about challenging myself in my last year here at Northeastern and going back into event planning, but this time without an extensive eboard and more creative freedom.
