What made you decide to be a AAC Fellow, and what are you the most excited for?
I’ve always been very open about my life and culture. Being a part of NU GOAL has helped me fully understand all the aspects of my life that I was never able to analyze by myself. I love my cohort— many of whom I’ve become close friends with— and it is so eye-opening to learn about experiences that we’ve shared through different lens! I decided to run for co-chair because I want to share the support and love I received to a new cohort. As a cohort, we’ve laughed, cried, and opened up to each other— something I can’t wait to carry on as an NU GOAL co-chair. I’m definitely most excited to meet new people and learn new perspectives and can’t wait to start!
