Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival

This past weekend, I went to Revere Beach to see the sand sculptures in this year’s International Sand Sculpting Festival with a friend. To avoid the heat, we went closer to the sunset. There were so many people there, and it was a bit hard to find parking, but we eventually found parking!

We were able to see the sand sculptures, which were cool. I wonder why the theme this year was “Wonders of the World,” because from what I remember, the sculptures didn’t really capture this theme. But who am I to judge, lol

I think the highlight of my night was the fireworks show. It has been a while since I’ve seen fireworks in person, so I forgot how they felt. When the fireworks go off, there’s a little sense of satisfaction when you can feel them in your chest from how loud they are. I don’t know if anyone else feels that way, but all I can say is that fireworks are much prettier in person. It was nice to go out and explore a place I’ve never been to before in Boston 🙂
