My Perfect Day

There are many components that makes a perfect day. First, the weather has to be a warm 75-80 degrees with a gentle breeze and partly cloudy. I would ideally wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise, make my favorite mushroom-spinach-egg scramble, and sip on an iced matcha latte with oat milk. After, I would spend time with my friends and either go to the beach or go on a long hike. Since I grew up in the city, I didn’t get to spend a lot of time in nature and now I’m making that up.

We would get lunch somewhere, preferably Thai food or a panini. After that, I would go to a museum with my boyfriend. Over spring break, I went to the MET, which I haven’t been to since I was in high school for a school project. I really enjoyed my time there, even though I spent the last hour scrambling for a charger. It’s truly so expansive that an hour or two is not enough to see even 1/4 of it.

Finally, I’d end my day at my grandma’s house, where I would spend time with my family and eat delicious homemade Chinese meals. A good day of food is a good day.
