I went to Maruichi with my roommate recently and it was a nice place to go! It is a cute Japanese market split into two stores. One has many teas, food and dishes while the other is a broader grocery store with makeup and stationary. The area has bookstores and a thrift store, and is also not a far walk from Allston. It is definitely somewhere fun to visit!!
