Hi everyone, my name is Casey, I am a rising fourth year Nursing major from Orlando, FL. A personal fact about me is that I recently went on vacation to Puerto Rico and I miss it so much! A professional fact, I currently work as a PCT on a hematology/oncology floor at BIDMC and love it! In addition to that, I am taking my public health clinical and work as a school nurse assistant. A peculiar fact about me is that I really hate the sound of velcro. It gives me chest pain for some reason. I wanted to work with the AAC because I’ve been working here every Spring since my freshman year! My spring semester was okay, class-wise was not too hard. I look forward to seeing what Summer 1 holds.

Hi Casey, welcome back to being an AAC intern! We’re so glad to have you back. I hope you’re enjoying your practical experiences! It’s def a perk of the NEU experience, and you seem to be taking full advantage of the opportunities afforded to us – good for you! I hope you’re able to take some time to rest though! I also hate the sound of velcro, I actually quite a visceral reaction to it. So, I understand. Also, love that you went to PR – my best friend from college was born and raised there! I’m looking forward to hearing more about your trip and learning more about you in my last couple of weeks.
