Although my friends know I have been working at the Annex since January, a lot of them had not visited until recently. The first time I brought people to the Annex was for a group project. While working on the project, one girl who was Chinese commented on how she’d like to come more often and another person said he wanted to check out the Latinx Student Center. I later brought non-Asian friends who enjoyed the ambiance of the AAC and wanted to see the AAI and LGBTQA center.
I was introduced to the Annex by my friend Fanny, and I feel like most people need a push to visit their own Student Center. Bringing people to the AAC Annex has been a successful push so far!
